Water of Leith Walkway Resurfacing

After a period of local consultation with key stakeholders the City of Edinburgh Council have decided to use Flexipave as an alternative to Ultitrec on the route from Slateford to Balerno. Flexipave has been used on numerous routes similar to the Water of Leith Walkway, including sections of the Trans Pennine Trail in England.
The contractor is due to be on-site on Monday the 13th February to re-start the groundworks for the sections from where they finished off when the works were suspended to Balerno. Working from Juniper Green upstream.
