Thanks so much to Longstone Hearts for bringing this invaluable AED (Automated External Defibrillator) resource to our community. 
AEDs are designed so you can use them with zero prior knowledge, but if you’ve had a chance to test one out on a first aid course, it will have given you much more confidence if you need one in an emergency. It will literally talk you through what to do, step by step, with very clear instructions so if you need one in an emergency then send someone for it immediately.
If applied to a casualty in the first 3-5 minutes it can mean survival rates of 50-70%
Without one survival rates are as low as 10%
