The only allotment in our area is the Redhall allotment site owned and managed by City of Edinburgh Council. It is located in Craiglockhart Dell with access from Lanark Road. It was formerly a tree nursery owned by CEC and converted to an allotment in 1987. There are 43 plots and the estimated waiting time is about 12 years. Applications via CEC Allotment Officer, Ian Woolard, 0131 529 7916 only for any CEC sites (21 in total). The current rent per annum is £80.00. For any other enquiries, please contact the City of Edinburgh Council. No enquiries at site please, access by locked gate for plot holders and their visitors only.
